How will I receive my tickets?

In a concerted effort to protect consumers, DMPA and the producers of HAMILTON have decided that any tickets purchased after July 4, 2018 will held at will call at the Civic Center Ticket Office.  Will Call pick-up is available at the Des Moines Civic Center Ticket Office by the original purchaser only with a valid ID matching the name on the order and the order number.

What if my tickets don't come in the mail?

Tickets that have not been received, for any reason, including lost or stolen, will be held at Will Call under the original account-holder name, and may be picked up with a valid photo ID and order confirmation email beginning two hours prior to curtain time on the performance date ONLY. No exceptions. If you require replacement tickets to be held at Will Call, please call (515) 246-2300.

I found tickets online for for over $400?

Only tickets purchased directly from: DMPA.org, the Civic Center Ticket Office or by calling the Civic Center Ticket Office at (515) 246-2300 are guaranteed to be legitimate tickets.

Is there a lottery or rush for HAMILTON?

There is a lottery for forty (40) $10 Orchestra seats for all performances. Click here for more information.

Are there group sales available?

Group sales are not available.

Where can I purchase tickets?

Tickets are available for purchase online at DMPA.org or by calling 515-246-2300 or at the Civic Center Ticket Office Located at the corner of 3rd and Walnut Street. The fastest way to purchase tickets is online at DMPA.org.

Can I get on a waiting list for tickets?

There is no waiting list for HAMILTON tickets. We encourage you to check back regularly.

Is there an age requirement?

HAMILTON is appropriate for ages 10+ since there is some strong language. Children under the age of 5 are not permitted in the theatre.

What is the running time for HAMILTON?

Running time is 2 hours and 45 minutes including intermission.

Is the Broadway cast performing in the tour?

The Des Moines engagement of Hamilton will feature an all new cast. Casting will be announced later but it will be produced, with the same talent, attention to detail and high quality as the Broadway and Chicago productions.

What if I can't attend my purchased performance?

Since all sales are final, we are unable to offer refunds. Be sure to check the following information before completing your purchase: show title, day, date, time of performance, and number of tickets.

Will more tickets be released once it sells out?

Any additional inventory will be released for sale if and when they become available.

Are there any discounts available?

There are no discounts for any tickets for HAMILTON.

Are there Audio Description and ASL performances?

Yes, at the 1:00 p.m. performance on Sunday, July 1.

Are there Meet and Greet options with the cast?

No Meet and Greets have been announced.
