How many tickets can I purchase?

There is a 4 ticket limit per household.

How much are tickets?

Tickets range from $54.00 - $148.50 with a select number of premium seats available for all performances for $303.50.

I found tickets online for for over $400?

Only tickets purchased directly from: DMPA.org, the Civic Center Ticket Office or by calling the Civic Center Ticket Office at (515) 246-2300 are guaranteed to be legitimate tickets.

Why am I only able to purchase 4 tickets?

In order to allow as many people as possible the opportunity to purchase tickets for Hamilton, the production has limited the number of tickets any single patron may purchase. Patrons found in violation of this policy will have ALL of their tickets cancelled.

Are there group sales available?

Group sales are not available.

Where can I purchase tickets?

Tickets are available for purchase online at DMPA.org or by calling 515-246-2300 or at the Civic Center Ticket Office Located at the corner of 3rd and Walnut Street. The fastest way to purchase tickets is online at DMPA.org.

What is the running time for HAMILTON?

Running time is 2 hours and 45 minutes including intermission.

Is there an age requirement?

HAMILTON is appropriate for ages 10+ since there is some strong language. Children under the age of 5 are not permitted in the theatre.

Is the Broadway cast performing in the tour?

The Des Moines engagement of Hamilton will feature an all new cast. Casting will be announced later but it will be produced, with the same talent, attention to detail and high quality as the Broadway and Chicago productions.

What if I can't attend my purchased performance?

Since all sales are final, we are unable to offer refunds. Be sure to check the following information before completing your purchase: show title, day, date, time of performance, and number of tickets.

Will more tickets be released once it sells out?

Any additional inventory will be released for sale if and when they become available.

Can I get on a waiting list for tickets?

There is no waiting list for HAMILTON tickets. We encourage you to check back regularly.

Is there a lottery or rush for HAMILTON?

There will be a lottery for forty (40) $10 Orchestra seats for all performances. Details about the lottery will be announced closer to the engagement. The best way to be informed about how the lottery will work is to subscribe to our email club by visiting DMPA.org or follow us on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.

Are there any discounts available?

There are no discounts for any tickets for HAMILTON.

Are there Audio Description and ASL performances?

Yes, at the 1:00 p.m. performance on Sunday, July 1.

Are there Meet and Greet options with the cast?

No Meet and Greets have been announced.

How will I receive my tickets?

In a concerted effort to protect consumers, the producers of HAMILTON and DMPA have decided that tickets will be mailed 30 days prior to the scheduled performance date with no print-at-home tickets.

What if my tickets don't come in the mail?

Tickets that have not been received, for any reason, including lost or stolen, will be held at Will Call under the original account-holder name, and may be picked up with a valid photo ID beginning two hours prior to curtain time on the performance date ONLY. No exceptions. If you require replacement tickets to be held at Will Call, please call (515) 246-2300.
