THERE IS NOTHING LIKE BROADWAY! We’re pleased to announce rescheduled performance dates from the previous 2019-20 season and the current 2020-21 Willis Broadway Series. Mark your calendar with these new dates.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the Civic Center, and once again, sharing the magic, the music and the shared experience of live, professional theater.
We’ve missed seeing you, and we thank you for your continued support of Des Moines Performing Arts and the Willis Broadway Series.
If you are a current season ticket holder no additional action is needed on your part, but please note the updated dates for your performances.
Select the payment option that’s right for you! Take advantage of monthly payments, split your order into two payments or pay in full when your order is processed.
You can move your tickets from two productions in the Willis Broadway Series Season Ticket Package to any Broadway Package Add-On production OR any Des Moines Performing Arts presentation in the Dance, Temple Comedy or Live at the Temple Concert Series. Additional restrictions will apply.
If new tickets are higher priced than original tickets, payment for the difference will be applied at the time of substitution. Substitution requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the start of the production’s engagement. Show substitutions can be made by calling (515) 246-2322.
Can’t make it to your scheduled performance? You can move your Season Ticket seats into a different performance of the engagement. You may also request to move your Season Ticket seats into different seats for your scheduled performance time.
Ticket exchange requests much be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled curtain time.

Please log into your account to view your upcoming events. If you have TOOTSIE in your list of upcoming events then you already renewed! No action is needed right now. Changes to your package such as show substitutions and ticket exchanges will be available at a later date.
Yes! Please call us at 515-246-2300 or stop in at our ticket office to take advantage of our monthly or 2-pay payment plan when you renew.
No action is needed right now. If you did not purchase add-on performances previously, you are welcome to do so now - these include CATS and RENT. If you are unsure if you purchased any add-on performances, please log into your account to view your upcoming events.

Yes! The barcode is all you need to be admitted to the theater, the date printed on the ticket will not prevent you from attending
Tickets for the upcoming package (1776, HAMILTON, TOOTSIE, HADESTOWN, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD) were never mailed, and as part of our ongoing effort to improve safety protocols, tickets will be delivered electronically. Des Moines Performing Arts will introduce electronic delivery via email with a QR code or via our upcoming mobile app. Watch your email for further communications.
Yes! We have processed all seat change request. You should have received an email regarding the status of your request, if you did not receive an email, please contact our Ticket Office for the status of your request.
DMPA has updated our HVAC systems with new filters, adjusting for increased fresh air circulation and adding portable air filtration systems in key areas of the venue. Ticket holders should expect an email detailing specific protocols for entering Des Moines Performing Arts venues closer to the date of their performance(s). Please be sure to keep an updated and active email associated with your account to ensure you receive show-related communications.
