Important cancellation and postponement information
Des Moines Performing Arts is delighted to begin welcoming audiences back to the Civic Center later this year. We are working with experts from across our community and state as well as following CDC guidelines to establish health and cleanliness protocols. We anticipate these guidelines will evolve as performances progress, so please watch your email closer to your performance(s) for the most current guidance to enter the Civic Center. At this time, we anticipate requiring all guests to wear a mask that fully covers the nose and mouth.
Our team has been working throughout the shutdown to prepare our facilities for your safe return. This includes updating our HVAC systems with new filters, adjusting for increased fresh air circulation and adding portable air filtration systems in key areas of the venue. Other improvements include additional hand sanitizing stations, protective guards around concession areas and implementation of touchless transaction options.
We want you to feel confident when purchasing tickets. Please know that if you or a member of your party are not feeling well prior to a performance, we have a variety of flexible options available to you including exchanges and refunds. Please contact us prior to the performance and our team will gladly walk you through your options.
Your loyalty has protected the arts through this intermission and we are delighted to welcome you back to live performances. Thank you for your continued support!
