THE PEKING ACROBATS

Event Details
Grades K-12
Since their founding in 1986, the Peking Acrobats have dazzled global audiences, pushing the limits of human ability and defying gravity with amazing displays of contortion, flexibility, and control. The Peking Acrobats perform daring maneuvers atop a precarious pagoda of chairs and display technical skills with acts including trick-cycling, precision tumbling, juggling, somersaulting, and gymnastics. This spectacle mixes time-honored Chinese folk music, awe-inspiring acrobatic feats, and high-tech special effects. The result is an exuberant entertainment event with the festive pageantry of a Chinese Carnival, that leaves audiences asking: “How did they DO that?”
Science, Social Studies
