Grades 5-12

A young boy from a seemingly utopian, futuristic world is singled out to receive life-altering training from The Giver, who alone holds the memories of the true joys and pain of life. Lois Lowry’s Newbery Award-winning classic, The Giver, comes alive onstage, in a one-person show that explores what it means to be human. Brought to us by Literature to Life (LTL), performance-based literacy program that presents verbatim adaptations of American literary classics. LTL’s mission is to perform great books that inspire young people to read and become authors of their own lives.
