11:00 AM – Local 5's CyHawk Gameday special, anchored by Sports Director Jon Schaeffer and former Cyclone Jeff Woody will air followed by the Oregon vs Ohio State game.
3:30 PM – Cy-Hawk Game – Iowa at Iowa State

Come down to Cowles Commons on Saturday, September 11 to see the Iowa vs. Iowa State football game on two Jumbotron TVs.

Iowa Craft Beer Tent will be serving cold beverages and three local food truck vendors will be on hand.

Music and entertainment all day long. Game Time is 3:30 PM. Wear your school colors and bring your chairs for a one of a kind viewing party (no coolers or outside food please).

It doesn’t get any better than this for a day of football, cold beer and fantastic food! FREE ADMISSION. All ages welcome. The best tailgate party in Des Moines!

Help DMPA and Local 5, the official media partner for the event, give back to the Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC) by bringing non-perishable food items, specifically low-sugar cereal, peanut butter and canned fruit in its own juices.

Two donation barrels will be set up—one for Cyclone fans and the other for Hawkeye fans—to see who brings the most donations. Learn more here.
