Latin Social Dance with Ballet Hispánico

Join us for a night full of dancing and live music at the Des Moines Civic Center in advance of the public performance of BALLET HISPÁNICO, part of the Des Moines Performing Arts’ Dance Series! The evening will begin with complimentary dance lessons with company members from BALLET HISPÁNICO, then we will open up the dance floor for you to try out your skills.

This event is free and open to the public.

Featuring PARRANDEROS LATIN COMBO playing salsa, cumbia and more! Dancers from SALSA DES MOINES will join us for the open dance portion of the evening.

FRIDAY, MAY 4
6:30 PM | Doors Open
7 – 8 PM | Complimentary Lesson with company members from BALLET HISPÁNICO
8 – 10 PM | Open Dance with live music by PARRANDEROS LATIN COMBO
