DMPA Announces the 2022-23 Season for the Willis Broadway Series

DES MOINES, IowaDes Moines Performing Arts (DMPA) announced today new engagements headed to the Civic Center as part of the Willis Broadway Series. Six shows make up the Season Ticket Package with three returning favorites and a special one-night concert in partnership with the Des Moines Symphony offered as add-on options.

The six-show Season Ticket Package includes: Fiddler on the Roof, the global sensation SIX, Disney’s The Lion King, TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, Ain’t Too Proud – The life and Times of The Temptations and Beetlejuice. The add-on engagements include: The Book of Mormon, Come From Away, Dear Evan Hansen and An Evening with Kelli O’Hara.

SIX and Disney’s The Lion King will play at the Civic Center for special multi-week engagements.

DMPA has a long tradition of investing in Broadway productions. The 2022-23 season features two DMPA-invested shows, Ain’t Too Proud – The life and Times of The Temptations and Dear Evan Hansen.

The only way to guarantee seats to the six-show Willis Broadway Series is to purchase Season Tickets. Season Tickets to the Willis Broadway Series are on sale now at the Civic Center ticket office, by phone at (515) 246-2322 or online at DMPA.org.
