SHUCKED announces cast & crew for North American tour!

We are excited to welcome the North American tour of Shucked, the Tony Award®-winning musical comedy, to Des Moines Civic Center from January 28 to February 2, 2025! Producers Mike Bosner and Jason Owen have announced the full casting for the tour, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for this talented cast and crew to bring this fresh, hilarious show to our stage.
The cast features Miki Abraham (Shucked on Broadway) as Lulu, Tyler Joseph Ellis (The Sex Lives of College Girls) as Storyteller 2, and Maya Lagerstam (The Gospel According to Heather) as Storyteller 1. Joining them are Mike Nappi (Darling Grenadine) as Peanut, Jake Odmark (Kinky Boots) as Beau, Quinn VanAntwerp (Shucked on Broadway) as Gordy, and Danielle Wade (Mean Girls National Tour) as Maizy. The ensemble includes Zakiya Baptiste, Mackenzie Bell, Carly Caviglia, Cecily Dionne Davis, Ryan Fitzgerald, Sean Casey Flanagan, Jackson Goad, Erick Pinnick, Nick Raynor, Celeste Rose, Kyle Sherman, and Chani Wereley.
This all-star cast will be led by a powerhouse creative team. With a “superb book” by Tony Award®-winner Robert Horn, and music by Grammy Award® winners Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally, Shucked brings together a team of some of the most talented people in the business. Directed by three-time Tony Award® winner Jack O’Brien, this tour will feature choreography by Sarah O’Gleby, music supervision by 2023 Tony Award® nominee Jason Howland, scenic design by Tony Award® winner Scott Pask, costume design by Tilly Grimes, lighting design by Tony Award® nominee Japhy Weideman, sound design by Tony Award® winner John Shivers, wig design by Academy Award® and Emmy Award® winner Mia Neal, and casting by Stephen Kopel, C12 Casting. Nick Williams is the tour music director, Alan D. Knight serves as the Production Stage Manager, and Dhyana Colony is the company manager.
