Three actresses illuminate the turbulent and passionate life which Anne Sexton chronicled so brilliantly in her poetry and letters. By illustrating her own life in her own words, she draws an intensely personal portrait that chronicles the modern woman's struggle to "have it all" while living the "American Dream"
It is a universal voice that celebrates birth and death in a startling and stunning confessional tone, not heard before her celebrated work.

Eric Jong answered, “Anne Sexton gives the full measure of that heat and violence. She is one of those few writers by whom our age will be known in time to come.”
