MUSICAL THEATER DANCE INTENSIVE w/ company members from HAMILTON
Company members from HAMILTON will lead teens in a four-day musical theater dance intensive that will be held July 10–13, 2018. Through two daily master classes, participants will sharpen their dance technique within a range of musical theater styles, increase their characterization skills as movers, and gain knowledge of the industry from working professionals.
The intensive is open to advanced-level dancers in grades 9 through first year of college, based on enrollment in fall of 2018.
Students must apply and be accepted to participate based on materials submitted. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis with early submissions encouraged.
One four-day session of the MUSICAL THEATER DANCE INTENSIVE will be offered:
Tuesday, July 10-13, 2018
Hours: Camp begins at 8:30 AM and ends at noon. Students may be dropped off in the morning between 8:15-8:30 AM.
Location to be announced.
The week is designed for advanced-level dancers who are highly interested in musical theater, grades 9 through first year of college based on fall 2018 enrollment.
Previous dance training or experience is necessary. Interested students will be asked to fill out an application form that gives insight into your dance training, styles you are familiar with, and other related information.
The Musical Theater Dance Intensive carries a registration fee of $230.
We want to make sure that camp is accessible to all. Please check out details on our SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM if financial assistance is needed to allow you to participate.
Scholarship requests should be submitted the same day as your application to participate via the guidelines at the link above.
Your participation is very important to the overall success of your selected camp, but we understand that summer plans sometimes change. In the event that you are no longer able to participate after being accepted into the camp and registering, please submit notice of your camp cancellation to email@example.com.
Written notice of cancellation must be received six weeks prior to the first date of the camp in order for a refund to be issued.
If a cancellation is submitted less than six weeks prior to the camp start date, a refund will only be issued if we are able to secure a new registration to fill the vacated spot.
Are you in 9th through 12th grade and still want even MORE musical theater experience?
