Tetris
Arch8 (Netherlands)
Grades 2-8
Inspired by the videogame, this extremely physical dance quartet explores how we connect with one another. Dancers flip, slide, leapfrog and tumble over each other to create single unified forms out of their individual bodies. This piece is for the kids who can’t sit still, for the ones who like to climb the walls, and those who can imagine farther than they can see. All are invited to enter the dancers’ world.
This special school performance will also feature No Man Is an Island, which pushes the limits of possibility as one dancer climbs, stretches, and shifts his weight atop another without ever touching the ground.
Please note: all children who enter the theater for this production must have a ticket and be at least three years old.
