2019 Excellence in Theatre Education Award
Behind every great artist is a teacher. The Tony Awards® and Carnegie Mellon University are looking for the teachers who inspire the next generation of theatre artists. You can help by telling the story of a K-12 theatre educator who made a difference in your life or the lives of others.
Anyone may submit a candidate for the 2019 Excellence in Theatre Education Award. Make a video that shows why your favorite theatre teacher deserves the award and he or she might be honored at the 73rd annual Tony Awards on June 9. The winner will attend the Tony ceremony and be acknowledged on the CBS telecast.
