Des Moines Performing Arts seeks to add an Outbound Sales Coordinator to its team, focused on selling group ticket packages, via the telephone, online platforms, and face-to face interactions.
This positon will be charged with establishing qualified leads, initiating and closing group sales, and responding to customer service inquiries and issues to maintain positive client relationships. There will be annually confirmed sales targets based on overarching goals. Proactive outbound efforts through phone, face to face and social selling possibilities to develop, engage and build successful client base.
The Outbound Sales Coordinator will leverage our CRM system to enable accurate and efficient pipeline management and clean customer data. They will partner with shows, analyze sales and prospect data, and demonstrate initiative and autonomy to ensure maximum exposure to targeted groups.
It will also be important for this position to foster positive working relationships within area, company, and client base and track those relationships and purchase history for statistical tracking and future data informed decisions.
In addition to the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands, the successful candidate will demonstrate proven success with competencies related to sales, initiative, telemarketing, communication skills, collaboration, presentation skills, strategic thinking, and cooperation.
Occasional nights and weekends are required.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. One to three years of telephone sales experience is also required. One to five years of general sales experience is preferred, as is an appreciation for our mission and vision as a non-profit organization serving the community in the area of performing arts.
